All By Myself............
Well, all of my pals are in Orlando this week at the RWA National conference.
(No, they don't really look like this picture, I just did that to get back at them for having fun without me!)
But with deadlines and a kitchen renovation...a conference just seemed like too much hard work! =)
Still, now that I'm All By Myself.......I'm rethinking the whole thing. And I swear, I will NEVER miss another conference..........
Saturday.......
So, I should be working. Even opened Word and stared at my pages for several loooonnnggg minutes.
Then turned instead to my TBR pile. (That's To Be Read for those who don't know)
I'm reading now. Loving reading something I didn't write. Reading the new Evanovich book and enjoying it. A lot.
What about you? Are you reading? Working? Tell me what's going on in your world.......
Border's Best selling list.....
Now, to all of you who don't have your copy yet...WHY? =)
Get out there now and help me stay on that list, what do you say? It's a
fun book, if I do say so myself and the beginning of a fabulous continuity series...
So, be kind to your local author! She thanks you......
New Book Out Now.....
Okay, so you really can't click on that particular link to look inside, but I've been having trouble getting a picture to post!!
Blogger does NOT like me today. Why? I'm a nice person! I rarely go on a rant and when I do I've been told it's fairly entertaining!
Ah well....the upshot of this post is to let you all know I've got a new book out!
CLAIMING HER BILLION DOLLAR BIRTHRIGHT......not my title, by the way, just so you know.
But I claim the book! I really like this one. It's the first in a continuity for
Silhouette Desire about the Jarrod family dynasty. The series is set in Aspen and I think it's pretty fabulous.
The book's on the shelves now, so make your local author happy and go buy a copy! Or two. Or three! Give as gifts! And if you'd like a signed bookplate, just send an SASE to me at PO Box 1883, Westminster, CA 92684-1883........
Email me through my website and let me know what you think!
Happy Fourth of July!
Happy Fourth of July to everyone! Hope you celebrate with friends and family and hope you thoroughly enjoy all of the freedoms we have in this great country!
I love the Fourth. Love the fireworks, love the barbecue and love the snap of our flag flapping in the wind.
And I wanted to let you all know about this site I stumbled on the other day. It's called
A Cup of Joe for a JoeAt this site, you can buy cups of coffee for our troops serving overseas. The
GreenBeans coffee company has shops on our bases all over the world. You buy coffee--2 dollars a cup--include an email message to our men and women serving all over the world, and they can get a free cup of coffee. (Or hey, iced frappucino, depending on where they're serving and just how hot it is!)
When your emailed coffee certificates are delivered to the service men and women who have signed up to participate, you'll get some great emails in return. Thanking US for thinking about THEM.
So on this Fourth, think about all of them. Light a sparkler and buy a cup of Joe.
