Saturday Heroes....

Okay, I'm noticing that a lot of my heroes are fictional. Hmmmm. What does that say? Of course, these fictional heroes are based on the men and women who actually DO the real job day after day.

Take David Boreanaz...He plays Seely Booth on the television show BONES. His is a great character. FBI agent, Alpha man with a deep sense of honor. He's a former military sniper who is also a devout Catholic. He's a single father, whose child is the most important thing to him. He's also got a terrific sense of humor.

And let's not forget that David will always be to some of us...Angel, the vampire with a soul....

Saturday heroes...........

NCIS. If you're not watching it, why not???

Mark Harmon alone is a good enough reason to watch the show.........then you add some great writing, terrific mysteries and fabulous characters, and you've got a great show.

Why they're on Saturday heroes?

Mark Harmon plays Leroy Jethro Gibbs. A former Marine now an investigator for NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service). Gibbs is a no nonsense kind of guy.

He knows what's right, what's wrong and doesn't have a problem making the tough calls. He's a sucker for a kid in trouble or a woman in jeopardy.

And if you're the one he's looking for, he will NEVER give up.

Talk about a hero. He's an Alpha man all the way, but he's got a vulnerability that shows up just often enough to tug at your heart.

The way Mark Harmon plays Gibbs makes him the kind of hero everyone should have on their side!
