Saturday Heroes....
Okay, I'm noticing that a lot of my heroes are fictional. Hmmmm. What does that say? Of course, these fictional heroes are based on the men and women who actually DO the real job day after day.
Take David Boreanaz...He plays Seely Booth on the television show BONES. His is a great character. FBI agent, Alpha man with a deep sense of honor. He's a former military sniper who is also a devout Catholic. He's a single father, whose child is the most important thing to him. He's also got a terrific sense of humor.
And let's not forget that David will always be to some of us...Angel, the vampire with a soul....

I love BONES!! Such a great show! And Seely Booth--an awesome character, played perfectly by Boreanaz. I can't imagine anyone else in that role. :)
And, of course...Angel. Sigh.

Isn't he GREAT?? Not only is it a fabulous character, but David plays him so well. He's funny and tender and vulnerable and strong. Amazing how much a good actor can bring to a character, isn't it?
And oh, Angel........
