The Plague...........
Sorry it's been awhile.....but as you can see by the little bugger on the left......I've been down for the count.
Went to plot group, had a GREAT time, got some fabulous books, then flew home, unpacked, took a nap and woke up with a fever of 102!! Didn't get off the couch again for five days.........
Why is it we can put people on the moon and can't cure the common cold/flu? Why is it we think a hotel room is clean after a maid goes through? The truth is, the maids do their cleaning and wiping down, but they're using cloths they've already used on a hundred rooms, so hey, they're just the travel agents for GERMS.......
I've learned my lesson. Amy J. Fetzer suggested that I travel with Clorox wipes. WHY didn't I think of that??? At conference this year, going to be wiping my room down every other damn minute. No way am I bringing the plague home with me.
AGAIN.

That's just gross about the maids using the same towels. I never thought about it but it's probably true. Ugh.
Hope you're feeling better soon. It was very unfair for you to get sick when we were having so much fun! :-)

So sorry that you have been sick. Not fun!
My dh used to travel extensively. He just took a promotion, so he is not doing that any more. I will miss the frequent flyer miles but that is about it. LOL

Kate........I didn't think about the maids using that same ol' cloth until Susan said it! Then I was completely freaked out!!! We did have fun...sadly, I paid and paid and paid.....LOL
Kim! Oh, Good God!! LOLOL...I may never travel again!! Do we all need hazmat suits anymore??
And YES! A FIEND IN NEED will be out in the first two weeks of March! As soon as I have a firm date, I'll post it here! Thanks for asking.......

Cool...I am heading to SF, CA at the end of March with DH for our anniversary. :) I will need something for the plane ride.
Yes, when we get there, the first thing we will do is go buy ourselves a package of disposable cups! LOL

Kim - I was looking for that YouTube video. Thanks for posting it. Very scary stuff...gross actually. One of the reasons my hubby likes to travel in our motorhome. He says he knows whose butt has been on his toilet last!
Sorry you're sick. Unfortunately, I have the dreaded "stomach bug". Going on day four...it's getting old!

Cyndi, sympathies on the stomach bug! And I refuse to do a motor home. Going on vacation, for me, does NOT mean bringing my kitchen! LOL
