THIS is Fall????
Welcome to Fall in Southern California! Yep, the Santa Ana winds are blowing, it's as hot as July and WalMart has Christmas decorations out in their aisles!
I ask you, how do you get enthused about winter and the holidays when faced with summer weather?
Yes, I realize a lot of you are cold and wet and miserable, but trust me, an actual Autumn would be a fun thing for those of us in California!

I complain to Jill daily about our HOT weather. It has been in the eighties here in Elk Grove and an hour and half away she has cold, snowy weather. NOT FAIR!!! Our Wal Mart has had their Xmas decorations out since August when it was 108 degrees. It's just so wrong. I can't get in the holiday mood until it is cold outside. The leaves are falling but how can you enjoy it when you're wearing shorts and flip flops? Maybe we should ask Jill if she has a couple of extra rooms for us. `

Gena, we sooooooo should talk to Jill about renting us some rooms. Hey, her dh redid the house! There's room!! LOL.......and seeing her blog with the snow just makes me so envious.....sigh.

Maureen, her dh did add to to the house so there is more than enough room for us. There is a room upstairs that is perfect for you to write in. It has a nice view. Me? I'd bunk with Ashes to be able to live there.

What's the deal? I have to keep changing clothes (it's a few days after you wrote this blog) it's almost cold in the mornings then hot in the afternoon. And it's Sinus Hell Weather to boot!
Jill, you don't seriously think we're gonna feel sorry for you living in Hawaii? Besides we miss you at OCC!

Jen, I soooooooooo hear you!!! this freezing in the morning and sweating in the afternoon is old now!! Plus, the santa ana thing is just a misery.....

I am late to post but I wanted to let you know that in Phoenix we are having the same kind of weather. Cold at night and still in the 90's during the day.
My sinuses are going crazy.
However, I love this time of year. How weird is that????
