conference.............

Just one little picture here to show you what it's like at the Harlequin party during the national RWA conference.

Imagine the ballroom at the Ritz, completely decked out with gorgeous decorations and incredible dessert stations. Don't forget the bartenders preparing classic drinks like Singapore Slings and Harvey Wallbangers. Now imagine the walls alive with a slide show of book covers from Harlequin's past.

Then add a really fun DJ playing great dance music from the last three decades and finally, add about 1000 writers, editors and agents dancing like crazy on a completely crowded dance floor.

And if you can do all that, you'll know why the Harlequin party is THE place to be at conference! So thanks, Harlequin, for always letting your writers know they matter...............

  3. Ah, Lacey, the desserts are phenomanal!!! This year, each table was a different 'decade'! for example...the 50's boasted tiny lemon meringue pies, mud pie, pineapple upside down cake, banana pudding...60's had carrot cake and pecan pie and ...so many amazing things..........just incredible!
