History Day...........
Not a big day history wise, so I'm thinking you guys are going to be able to outdo me big time today!!
The picture on the left is of the Moulin Rouge in Paris...The cabaret opened on this day in 1889.......(My daughter and I saw this place on our trip to Paris and gotta say......less than impressive! But I'm guessing it was pretty big news back in the day!)

Maureen! I've missed the last two Mondays. I don't know where the days are going. I've even started my Christmas shopping! Out of town for the weekend (football game) and have a minor RV problem coming home, so Monday was G-O-N-E before I knew it. I'll play next Monday. :)

Oh yeah, bomb shelters. They were really going to protect us all from an atom bomb, right? Hmm. But maybe if I got stuck in one with Brendan Fraser, I'd feel a little safer.
